Have you and your family signed up for the Adair/Guthrie Emergency Notification System? The LPA recommends doing so, as it provides one of the quickest and most direct ways of getting lake emergency notification, such as severe weather, flood information, and other potential emergency notices to members…and in a way that is specific to your LPA 911 address.

The system will not contact you unless your 911 address is in the specific area that the National Weather Service has issued a weather warning for and you have signed up to get the notification. This is a great tool for those that do not want to be bothered unless they are specifically in the warning area.

If you have questions about the system contact the Guthrie County Emergency Management office (contact information below) and coordinator Bob Kempf would be glad to explain how it works and sign you up. You can also sign up by clicking the signup link on the Emergency Management Page — CodeRed Notification Sign-up
