A high percentage of debris has been removed from the lake after the Father’s Day weekend deluge. However, since the water is still very murky, debris floating at or below the surface cannot be seen. This is the type of thing that is especially dangerous to people close to the water, so boating and fishing is OK, but these other activities could be dangerous. As the water clears in a few days, there should be a better indication of whether the other activities are safe or not.

In other news, the water company’s deep well is back in service after repairs. This should improve water quality brought on by the fluctuation in mineral levels in our two shallow aquifer wells.
